dimfil : Well, you've been lucky.
For me, no. One such user "Gordon" alias Gforce, sold me a defective HD Alfadata 500. Unable to recognize me simms modules. I have tried many, and different positions jumpers. This seller sent me new modules, but do not work, then he disappeared.
Nor has helped me moderator here. Nothing special about this site, still more reliable Ebay.

Sorry to hear that...
Well, maybe I've been lucky so far, but the truth is that I have only positive things to tell about my transactions on Amibay, with the last one being the present thread and koxman being honest, responsive and willing to resolve the matter.
I have never been disappointed, and I have always been the buyer.
Let's hope that cases like yours will still remain the vast minority in the future...

Yes, there are some good sellers, as Kipper, Vibros. I purchased to them, piacc64 also helped.
But here's a lottery and no support like Ebay.
Thanks for your words.

Notice that the memory chips are +3.3V. According to the manufacturer the absolute maximum supply voltage is +4.6V and not recommended for extended period.

Hi,

About 60% of all SIMM modules used in Amigas (16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB) are set as 3,3V type by SIMM manufacturers. Just checked batch of different producers.
You have porbably use 3,3V types in your Amigas as well.

And?
.
.
Nothing.

Of course I don't want to discredit IC manufacturer's engineers knowledge.
Just presenting the facts.

Sorry but your assumption is wrong, my SIMM modules have only 5V chips as it should be for Amiga hardware.
Chip manufacturers do not limit the operational voltage just for fun. Just presenting the facts.

I'm confused, is this a sale thread? Are these Sims for sale, if so availability?

Working with 1230MkIV?

Hello fitzsteve,

yes this is sale thread :)

SIMMs are available and working with Blizzard 1230MkIV - please see my first post.

Thanks, is trapdoor closing? If yes I will take one as my A1200 needs more Ramz! :D

I have done a thorough research in the internet for this matter.
We have to be completely fair and restore this sale to where it begun.

The simms sold here are compatible and safe for our blizzard accelerators, and it seems to me that I was in a hurry to listen to others stating that there could be a problem. I owe an apology to koxman, who was honest and responsive.

I declare interest again for one of these simms for my 1230 mkIV.
PM follows...

Thank you for your response.
Yes, I accept that I was mistaken being in a hurry to listen to other people's statements. I believe that the misunderstanding is now solved.
One of these can definitely be part of my Blizzard!
