For Sale 3.5" Floppy Disk Drives (Amiga modified & unmodified)

For sale are some working 3.5" floppy drives, both modified to work with the Amiga (modified to act as DD 880 kB disk drives) and unmodified ones.
All drives have been cleaned, lubricated and tested. Amiga modified ones have had capacitors replaced with quality Panasonic FR series ones as well.

Test method for Amiga modified ones - all tests were done on an A500:

• Load several trackloading games and demos
• Checked to work as an external drive (DF1
• Amiga Test Kit
  • Read test and head calibration check with original WB 2.1 and WB 3.1 disks, as well as with a few DD and HD (880 kB) disks written by a known good drive
  • Write test with DD and HD (880 kB) disks
• WB 1.3.3
  • Boot to Workbench successfully
  • Detect disk change properly
• X-Copy
  • Checkdisk runs properly
  • Format a few DD and HD disks to 880k
  • Copy a few disks

Test method for unmodified ones - all tests were done with Greaseweazle (FW 1.5):

• Read several DD 720k and HD 1440k disks written by known good drives
• Write several DD 720k and HD 1440k disks and verify by known good drive
