Yes they don't for now, but if they do, i hope they would target a similar price than for the other ones.

Actually, it seems that the thin wall at the edge of the vents is not due to printing but accurate to the 3D model.

Hello.
I am now in the process of building this A600.
Mobo fits well into the bottom part. Initially i wanted to use a metal backplate from Centurion.tech but finally i have kept the classic aluminium lower shield as i feel it would be better to keep the shape of the computer.
For now i am struggling with my floppy drive.
It would be better that the model include the screwholes for the drive because i don't know how to drill the printed case at the right spot, without damaging or breaking the resin, and i have no proper tools. Any idea how to do it?
Next step will be to add a black keyboard after cleaning an old one, replacing the membrane with a PCB and replacing the keycaps with black ones.
Then i will try to close the case.

I really want to print this A600, but that slim vent design is really turning me off. Are there plans to adjust those top vents to match the original case?

That's no big deal actually, difference is in the millimeter range.

Taking shape.
There might be an issue with my black resin fabric.
The upper part has stayed in a cardbox for the last couple of weeks and today i noticed like it was leaking a bit of oil on the surface. It has gone after cleaning with a paper.
I have ordered a small drill to make a screwhole for my floppy drive.

Ok finally i have been able to slowly drill a hole for my floppy drive with no problem.

But unfortunately, the top part has broken just below the Esc keycaps while inserting and resinserting the keyboard (i have an issue with the caps lock led not lighting, either a dead led or a bad contact on my keyboard PCB which replaced the old membrane, and i had to take the keyboard apart again to check). It does not show too much but it is still a shame at that price. Considering the stress on the top part because of the way the keyboard is inserted, perhaps another material should be prefered.

Now to close the case once and for all i need to fix some more things for that computer (black button for my sony drive currently printing at jlcpcp, a working chip ram expansion, etc).
So, as i want to avoid at all cost to break the case clips as on all other A600 cases i had in my hands, i will just pause for two weeks until i get the other parts i need.

Hi there.
So after having replaced the floppy drive button with a black one of same material and added a chip ram expansion, i have tried to close the case.
I have been able to screw the case shut but unfortunately there is a misalignement with the floppy drive and floppy disks can't be ejected (Sony modified drive once sold by Amigakit, usually fine with A600/A1200). I don't know if the issue comes from the case or the way i have screwed the floppy drive to the computer. Anyway, despite my carefullness, the left clip has broken when reopening the case, as always with the A600. That's not the worst clip to break but it is needed to be extra careful or to print this case in metal, which is possible at JLCPCP at a very high price.
So i need to pause until i can work on that floppy drive issue and some smaller ones to fix (my keyboard caps lock led won't lit, and my power led is off too).
I need to settle on the hardware setup so i never have to reopen that case afterwards (and unfortunately a Vampire V2 600 can frequelty pop out).

I have replaced the non working case LEDs but i can't solve the misalignement of the floppy drive with the case.
It may be caused by the 3D printed drive bracket not the same height that the original metal one (the plastic one has broken now anyway), and the missing second case screw hole.
So now i am awaiting for a genuine metal bracket and i will be drilling the second hole to see if it is any better.
But case clips are breaking one after another unfortunately and i may sadly end up with a non closing case as my other A600s.
And the keyboard is poping out too easily from the top case and need to be replaced again and again (which has already caused a small break to the top case).
I think the A600 is just a terrible computer and its case should be redisigned completely in the A1200.net fashion with renforced screw holes instead of clips and improvements to add USB ports.
This A600 is causing me despair as always and if i can't have it closed and working fine on my next attempt, i will just move it to a plexiglas case instead and reuse my black keycaps elsewhere.

Recently an issue was detected with one part of the model, its now sort of tested. The center part of Amiga 4000 keyboard is shifted, the special repair part is issued to fix already printed objects. Updates will be published on product page on CGTrader. Sorry for the inconvenience. The repair part itself is very simple, but somehow the same part from the initial part must be drilled and separated.

Regarding A600 case - its one of the best-fitting products, I printed it in FDM printer and used for a while for one of my motherboards.

A1000 case is ready and is preparing for the release
Any update on the A1000 case?

Following my black A600 story, i had to look for a replacement support for the floppy drive after two plastic ones have broken.
I found a 3D model online and had it printed by JLCPCP in metal.
Nice printing with thick metal but useless because the model is crap.
In the meantime, i have also secured a Commodore genuine one.
Here are the differences. Holes can't line up with both the drives and the mobo.
One must beware of all those bad 3D models scattered here and there on the internet.

I'll check if I have this clip available. I think my A600 is without gotek so it has some sort of floppy drive.

Still anxiously awaiting this :) Any updates?

Wow looks great, thank you for all your work on it!

Great, I bought the files for the Amiga 1000, but is there anyone who does 3D printing?
