are you using it with OS3.2 by chance? If so are you also using a CD drive with it?

Nope, I'm using it with a 3.1 install and a 3.5 install on a different hard drive. The 3.5 was already on the drive when I bought the Amiga tower so it's a bit of time capsule I am looking to preserve. I guess the 3.1 install is a Classic Workbench I've gradually customized over the years and I also have put this on a harddrive and not a cf card. OS3.2 doesn't require and IDEfix or 4xEIDE'99 driver as it recognises the two drives as far as I know.

I was thinking of connecting up the CD drive I have, but it is faulty as the door keeps opening by itself.

Ok thanks for the reply. I've had no luck getting my CD drive working with OS3.2 with this device and it was working great with OS3.1.4

That's weird. I would have expected it to work as easily. Did it even detect the drive? I might try hook up my cd drive later. Although my drive keeps opening the door by itself so I might have to buy a new one.
