Closed 68060 for upgraded Apollo 1240

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to get my hands on a 68060 for my recently upgraded Apollo 1240 (thanks Mike!). Any help greatly appreciated.

That i'm not entirely sure about.... am trying to research what the various masks mean cos this is new to me... Also, if i don't get much (or any) of a response i'll prob have to take whatever I can get...

well , if your running at 50mhz and a happy bunny the any mask will do , in fact most will hit 66mhz but they may run warm / hot. the later mask (production run) will be cooler and higher clock speeds are possible. its all relative.. higher speed, more heat.

The latest mask is 71E41J, so that would be the best as far as cool running temperatures and possible overclocking go, but if you are happy with 50MHz then most revisions are fine.

68060: CPU with MMU and FPU.
68LC060: CPU with MMU but without FPU.
68EC060: CPU with neither MMU nor FPU.

Hi! Can you tell a range of prices that you are asking for an 68060?
Pending on prices, I might want to buy one... if so, I will open a post on wanted section... Dont know if my question is against the rules, if so, mods please delete my message and I will open a request on "wanted" section
