you can put a jumper to DMAC pin 72 (note: maybe 71) to /CONFIGIN of your AutoConfig logic, since that signal is available at DMAC (sad really, they had the logic and failed to connect the trace)

... the trace to the diagnostic port config pin, which was instead grounded. (80 pin diagnostic connector is similar to a1000/500/2000 86-pin connector.)

The signal from DMAC pin 71 could be used with v4x ram boards, but v5x boards have only config out signal. It could be changed to config in by the cpld code.

The CD32 DMAC is probably the last in the AutoConfig chain, and there's probably nothing left to do (like on the last Zorro slot of a big box Amiga)...

The config out from cdtv dmac should be on the diagnostic port.

Thanks for that thread and it's understanding. I think the Zorro II cage area schematic with the CFGIN/CFGOUT logic gates can also help one understand how chaining can be done (and account for missing cards in the slot chain).
