TF memory and this product's memory occupy the same starting space (Zorro II $200000+) so therefore you couldn't use them together. You also would have 2MB + 8MB and the ZII space is limited to 8MB max.

You also don't want to let KS2.x and higher merge AutoConfig memory segments even if you could make it fit - A CPU bus access over a 16-bit and 32-bit memory board boundary is a trip to the guru with a bus error.

received and works perfect.

would it be possible to connect 2 cf cards to it? i have an a2000 with roms 3.1 fitted. i have a 32gb cf card installed. am using about 16gb in drives, but i can not read them on winuae.

i have a spare 4gb cf card. i want to put some demo's onto the card and copy them to the 32gb card.

or, can i connect a cd rom to the card? the cf adapter i got with the memory seems to have a pass through connector on it, just wondering what i can use it for.

Interested... with this and anything that can give me either a CFcard / SDcard harddrive for my A500+

The Cf card on adapter is 'master', set other device to 'slave', (cd-rom, cf-adapter, or so)
The other cf adapter can be on cable to make cf card more accessible. (power off during changing card.)
It will probably be slow to copy all gigabytes on Amiga.

many thanks, and just for information, i have the memory/ide fitted to an A2000 with a 32gb CF card, partitioned on a pc with winAUE to 1gb for workbench, then used the a2000 with 3.1 rom and a patched scsi.device to allow me to make loads of 4gb partitions. works perfect and allows me all 32gb of space, a little over kill but worth the effort.

Will this work with an a1000 and workbench 1.3? Apologies if this has been asked already

'config in' version of v59 cpld.

Tested config in with switch to gnd, and 4.87K 1206 size pull up resistor to +3.3V
4MB autoconfig version made, will test it.
non-autoconfig version not made yet. A500 has config out contact grounded, this can be cut and replaced. A2000 has config in, out on zorro slots. could make contact with pcb material, vero board maybe?
Unlike maybe in A600, using 'slow ram' fast ram space, A500 etc. would require disabling (gary) address decoding, not to drive 68000 databus from chipset direction (maybe?)

Also declaring interest for my A1000.

I'll ask a question here for others: do any wires need to be attached to the motherboard on an A1000? My current DKB board works this way.

The 8M board does not have any need for any wires. I have one in my A1000.

The IDE68K product (sold in another thread, and I have in the A1000) has need for off-unit signals. i have found the matching signals at the through-holes next to the 86-pin edge connector equally useful as the suggested signals off chip pins for that product.

hello. would this work in an A2000? does it need any additional soldering, or will it just plug in and play?

thanks

Chris.

Plug in and no wires, but no other AutoConfig RAM will be able fit (The Zorro II memory map becomes full).

There is a possibility that AutoConfig I/O cards in the system's slots may not like the way it AutoConfigures the memory before them in the no-wires form. I hope to test this in the next day in one of my spare systems to be able to confirm (I know what it does, and I know of other products that have similar issues). I know he has been looking into connecting a line to the expansion slot config signal(s) to address this issue (downstream autoconfig).

PM:ing to papa november, emuchicken, puppy pc, 2fla66
I have some 8mb ram boards and 8mb+ide solder combinations.
40€ / 80 €
includes non-tracked shipping, registered(signed for) +12€ or 'Expres' +18€

The ram board (v59) has config out signal. (can change to config in, first version must connect to ground level to enable ram, in A2000 get config in signal from zorro last slot / (in CDTV from mainboard?) The second config in version leaves ram on regardless of autoconfig process, can use addmem command if no autoconfig but must not use other memory cards at the 200000-> address space )
CF-adapter could be used with ide. Not sure if ide board fits in cdtv.( yes, note: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=90281 )

Unlike the boards for sale now, this pull-down resistor version for config in, unconnected leaves ram enabled.
Here 4.7 kohm resistor is under the small led and parallel connected. 1.13 kohm in series.
