A New machine joins the stable.

Well, Guys, It's been a while but I finally gave in and Bought a very nice A1200. I've had so many of these over the years, with the PiStorm coming on so well I just had to have it on the A1200. My A600 with the PiStorm is a nice machine but it feels like having only half the project. I bought this from a member here but on Evilbay sorry to say I had not realised it was advertised here.

With the Ossc All I have had to do is update the Roms which thanks to a happy accident I had them waiting in a drawer Ohh and added a gotek too.
The board is perfect having been recapped, the Blizzard MkIV is in great condition and carries the extra Co Process in a lovely gold top. I am waiting on my Pistorm Lite so with the OS updated to my version of 3.2, the machine runs perfectly.

As you can see my good old 4000 is there too so Big Brother is watching. I did update the Gotek from the original one to the latest one.

The keys have been painted as you can see, I can't make my mind up the keys are done brilliantly but I think the keyboard would look better with the new black key caps, what do you guys think?

I was tempted to buy the Mk3 Indi but with the age of these Motherboards I just was not happy with the heat they generate so after reading a little about the Ossc went for it instead.

When the Pistorm arrives I will post some more pics of it fitted and running. The A1200 net case is excellent too.

The a1200 is an awesome machine, I'm not sure if I like those keys though, but then I always did prefer the good old original keycaps on white cases.

I have an ossc, they are a great bit of kit and I bought mine rather than the Indivision MK3, mainly for use with other systems I have.

As for you posting a message on the original sales thread . I don't see any harm and don't think any of the other mods/admin will mind

Thank you, buddy, that is brilliant. I think then the new 1200net keycaps might have to be a treat for the machine LOL.

well thats the Pi Storm in with a 3b pi in there all running great with the new AmiKit as well.

Wow, what a difference new keys make, thanks Retro8bit. I was able to get these nice white and black keys, sorry Steve I wanted something a bit different or I would have ordered from my friends in Retropassion. A1200 net's case and keycaps look outstanding. The only thing left is an updated badge to reflect the Pistorm inside. I want to thank Amigakit for the quick Pistorm sale and dispatch, and Retropassion for the Amikit, it worked perfectly.
