I saw Stephen mention on the Facebook group a few days ago that the metalwork is expected to be delivered to him on 6th October so the cases should be shipped sometime after that. Looking forward to getting mine too - I've been buying bits here and there for the past few months to put into it!

Have you got yours yet? How did you get on?

Glad to hear yours has turned up and you are enjoying the build!

Yes! Mine arrived on Thursday last week and I started building on Saturday morning. I went with the A500 option and have so far put in an A500+ motherboard, 1MB chip expansion, TF536, Indivision ECS v2, and one of Matze's GBAPII++ graphics cards in the Zorro slot. I am using a 32gb IDE SSD for storage. I also have a floppy drive installed OK (needed the stand-offs) and KS 3.1.4 ROM.

Still left to do: I'm waiting for a 40 pin IDE cable to arrive so I can use one of those CF card adapters that sits in an expansion slot at the back (the other expansion slot is used by the graphics card). I'm also waiting for a DIN cable to arrive for the keyboard; I didn't order Stephen's keyboard cable kit as I thought I could do my own cheaper - regretting that now as it's the last thing from stopping me putting the lid back on the case! I have been using it with the keyboard sat on top though, while I've been trying it out.

I need to work out where I can take a power LED signal from in order to light up the LED on the front of the case, and also solder in a wire to the LED on the CF card adapter to drive the HD activity LED on the front.

I am using a Bequiet SFX 300 watt PSU which seems to behave itself, even without any load on the secondary 12V rail without which I was concerned it might not even fire up. I have measured 4.85V on the 5V rail around the A500+ board, which is probably a bit low - just wondering whether to break the warranty seal on the PSU to see if there is any sort of adjustment for the 5V inside. I was also a little concerned about powering the board via the edge connector instead of the main Amiga PSU connector, but so far, so good.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this product, although it seemed like a bit of an extravagance, it will be really nice to have a permanently set up Amiga on my desk and I think I'll get good use out of it.

I was going to use a bequiet psu but they were out of stock so I went with a Silverstone one that I am actually really pleased with.

I also went for the cf out of the back adapter which works well for me.

I am just waiting on the slim dvd drive to turn up and then a few tweaks and i should be done.

Looks great bud
Was a bit concerned with the space around the accelerator and cooling, how is it? Does the vent go all under? I'd need a cooler under for my PPC if I got one

I will take a pic when I open it back up to fit the dvd drive
I do remember thinking that a lot of the vent is not covered by the b1230 so only a bit of it is under the card. Suppose it means you can get airflow into the case as well as cool the card a bit?

Actually Steve, did you see the pics on the checkmate Facebook page of the bppc and bvision build etc?
