I'm in the process of cleaning my A3000 keyboard, and during disassembly I noticed that either the Space key or the Return key dome has a different color compared to the other domes, which are all white. The trouble is, I can't remember which of these two keys it came from—whether it belongs under the Space key or the Return key.
My guess is that the color indicates slightly different dome properties, such as its resistance to wear or the required actuation force. That would suggest it goes under the Space key, since it's the most frequently used key during typing.
Anyone remembers?
