Is the A3640 still for sale? I noticed in the pic that the card seems to be repaired, the green wire between R400 and C400. What do you know about that?

The green wire is not original. I have a A3640 rev 3.1 card even with same ver of the U209 chip that I bought brand new in the 90's. So it must have been fixed at some time in the past then. The 68040, is that the "full" version incl FPU+MMU? Not an EC/LC version?

Reset generator
A3640 Reset generator

Background: In order to ensure a reliable voltage level after switch-on and thus safe and defined clocks, a reset generator is used to pull the reset against ground until the voltage has reached its minimum value. The first A3640s still used a 'spongy' RC element for this.

Rework: The capacitor C400 is desoldered and replaced by a reset generator (see picture). Possible components: RH5VA43A or MAX811-TEUS (LEUS type did not work, or only very unreliably).

Has the card been re-capped at all? I believe some of these were shipped with caps the wrong way around, meaning they're likely to leak.
