Are there still boards available? And can a revC board be used as donor for the Amiga specific components? What's typically the price for the full Mouser BOM? And are there any rare / end of life components in there?

First I'm looking around whether someone is willing to offer me the "transplantation service" before I declare interest (so this is NOT yet a declartion of interest).

My recipient reported two damp boards (carrier/weather related) arrived, with everything inside looking good. Many thanks. Looking forward to the connectors when they become ready.

Mouser here in the US was just about $220 for the BOM.

Tested it with my cyberstorm PPC (it’s more of a MKIII ppc cpu removed) and all seems fine.

will look into adding an onboard 030 later down the line

Very nice timtheloon that looks amazing, it's really nice to see new PCB's being designed.

A new batch of PCBs has arrived. I'll start contacting people next in line..

Payment done! I can't wait!!! :)
Hese, I have doubts on some components. Where can we (not only you and me, I mean all of us) talk about this?
To all, is there a thread in which we could share experiences when building the A4000+?

Payment sent.

Edit: @timtheloon: what case do you have that in? It doesn’t look like a standard 4000D case, but I could be mistaken.

You are not mistaken kirk_m, The case I'm using for this wonderful motherboard is an Elbox 4000 tower (Power Computing Version) with the Elbox 4000D MKIII Mediator which you can see in the third picture of my previous post.

Looks like this one

Elbox 4000 Tower.jpg

remember there are A1200 versions of this tower so if you do go hunting for one make sure it is for an A4000 and not an A1200
