Hi all,
After watching this for a few weeks, I just wanted to make everyone aware of a potential Ebay scam.
From what I have seen, it looks like a guy is hi-jacking e-bay stores and is advertising a A4000T loaded for $2000 USD with Free shipping.
According to his listing (which is a .jpeg) you "Do not bid" but e-mail him (latest e-mail is a Gmail address and changes).
Fusion here tried for it before Christmas, thats how I found it.
Anyway- He says the "T" is in the USA, but you have to send the payment to the UK- via bank transfer only (even though the auction says paypal), plus you had to "link" your e-bay account with his, another words give hime full access to your account. His whole e-mails sent off alarms to Fusion, and Fusion sent them all to me to ask my opinion- this was right before Christmas.
He has since then posted the same Auction 4 times, each time under a different e-bay store and the last 3 times with the same Gmail address.
He has listed the auction twice today, with his auction getting shut down within an hour or so.
Hey, this all could be legit, but it smells so fishy to me that I just wanted to make everyone aware.
