Contacting the seller just gets a reply the there account has been hijacked. It is an automated reply; I'll bet it is to put off people complaining to eBay.

Thats why he says he wont reply to any questions through Ebay only by email. He wants you to link ebay accounts then wants you to wire the money to his bank acccount

Is he possibly removing the auctions before he gets stung for Paypal fees?

If so, then (hypothetically speaking, of course) another nefarious person might equally set up a dodgy account and offer a reuly ROFLAMO price for his 'tower' so that he gets stung for the LOLPaypal fee linked to the ROFLMAO price.

Can anyone who has received an e-mail from this person or persons offering this 'tower' please check the header details from the e-mails sent to them and if there is an originating IP address, do a WHOIS on the IP, so that we maybe get a clue where this 'seller' actually is? Alternatively, PM the IP address to me and I'll see what 'Merlock Holmes' has to say about it.

Merlock tells me that there were several Gregory Parkers in Surprise () Arizona, but they were all deceased; maybe that was what put the 'Surprise' in the location...
Arizona? Are you sure?

The location keeps changing, due to the number of hacked accounts that the scammer has available.

The first offer that was noted on here had the location logged as Arizona. The latest one was supposedly located in North Carolina.

And he doing this not for money.

Right

I think it's a big misunderstanding. He's obviously living in a mobile home, taking the A4000T on the road. It just so happens that every time he passes an open WiFi, his laptop just assumes it's supposed to repost his eBay ad. Under a different account. Each time. Because you can't use the same account if you're on the road.

The worst thing is, even though I know this is a scam, I still want to buy the damn machine because the 4000T is so cool!!

What's wrong with me?!?!

LOL, hope is a strong emotion :P

He could actually have the machine, and decide not to scam you because he likes you

Martona is a member on here. If this went through and Martona received the item, I'm sure that we'll hear about it.

If not, then equally, we'll get the back story on it from Martona.

Believe or not, but if this "that guy", he have enough cash to enjoy life, just looking for some adventures. What do you think, his english is classic british english or american variety?

well ebay should have been able to do something about this by now..
i mean if hes using a proxy block the proxy's.
after a while hes going to either have to stop or use his reall ip and then you can nab him.

What's sad is there are people falling for these types if scams every single day. Even online dating scams too. Really sad people are so effing stupid.

What do you mean, doesn't Tyra want to meet me in Bolivia? I just have to bring her suitcase through customs first. Who doesn't want to do that for the love of their life. I love her even though I haven't met her, so is perfectly reasonable that she also loves me, despite never having met me :-P

I've consulted my friend George Agdgdgwngo and he assures me that this note is 'Totally genuine and legitimate, just like him'.

I'd hate for us to be passing up on the opportunity of a lifetime, especially as so many East European women seem to find me attractive these days...
