Looking for a working A4000D Motherboard and for a fair price of course.
Daughter-board, Ram and kickstart roms not required.

Many thanks

I have a Rev. B A4000 board I can sell you. It's fully working with repairs done to the audio and RTC circuits. Has new SIMM sockets installed, new NIMH battery installed and all SMD capacitors have been replaced.
£125 + Delivery. I can offer a £45 discount & free delivery if you have a faulty board you can send me.

@hikey

Can you do us a favour please and update your profile to give a location/town as well as UK?

Thanks, Dave G

P.S. I would be interested in the board if Celleke isn't.

Thanks for the offer, but way too expensive.
Thanks

With comments like this on the thread, we start having public opinions, which isn't good for other readers.
This is why it's best to talk shop via PM, whilst keeping the thread clear of clutter like this.

Also, just a personal note to Celleke:

For a fully refurbished Motherboard, you might want to reconsider. ;)

Kin

PS. it even has the CPU card stand-offs.

Indeed Kin..., Fully reworked motherboard (Audio caps, and with it i presume all the rest of the caps, RTC, and replaced the hell fragile simm sockets). The price was NOT unreasonable.

I'd say "public opinions" are very good for other readers. I think some FUD could do wonders for the state of the amiga market right now.

Perhaps, but Amibay isn't the place for it. The golden rule on Amibay is that we don't allow any price discussions. Go grab a coffee and have another browse of the ol' rules. :readit:

I know it seems a little counter-intuitive, but we've found it works well. If you want to talk shop, there's places on amiga.org and EAB where you can do that. :-)

pffff. For me it was not a public discussion. Somebody offers a board and I commented it's too expensive. That's all. Just to inform the other he can buy it. If that's not even allowed, then this board is very childish. I never commented personally the seller. There is always a freedom of giving your opinion even on this board.

This is a 'Wanted' thread, so if you've been made an offer that doesn't suit you then yes, you can say "Out of my price range" or something similar.

The subtlety is that it's OK to say that it's too much for you personally, but it's not OK to suggest that a seller has priced an item incorrectly. That's all.

Anyways, let's get back to Amiga trading. A4000s are awesome and everyone should own one! So, does anyone else have one to offer Celleke?

P.S. A reminder to anyone else who's interested in a declined item in a Wanted thread, please can you create your own Wanted thread, since if you trade here, you won't be able to leave feedback!
