I love the monitor, is it a 1942? I have always wanted a 1942 and or a 1960.
The 1942 is my favorite C= monitor. The look pairs perfectly with an A1200 or A4000 and works great at both 15kHz and DblNTSC/DblPAL/Multiscan/VGA.

@Timetheloon what's that DVD/CDRW that you have? It looks like there are adapters for SD cards etc there as well? USB?
Yes it has, you can connect to a Deneb, a Freeway, etc.
I have the same in beige. Will go in one of mine...

Me too! My original 1942 bought after summer work in 1993 died few years ago, we fixed it with new FBT and capacitors, but now color levels are faded (wasn't before repair) so it is again at another tech's place... The case is not as nice as this one though, very yellowed after a bit too long storage... I would like to buy a second one but they rarely pop-up...
The 1942 is the perfect monitor for AGA machines, the 1960 requires too much fiddling after each resolution change, in my opinion...

4000T owner here since January. This is my first and only Amiga. Inside is a 040 processor, Video Toaster, Flyer, TBC, and X-Surf 100. Other upgrades include IDE to CF adaptor with OS 3.2.2 and 3.1 on CF cards that I can easily swap, a GoTek, and an SDBox V2. The SDBox is my favorite upgrade so far. It makes transferring files between my MacBook and my Amiga a breeze. It's due for a recap. Hoping to find a Video Toaster badge for the keyboard and case. As you can see, it's missing its front door. I found a model on printables.com that looks legit, but I don't have a 3D printer. I'll post a link at the end in case anyone is interested. My wishlist includes a PPC and RTG card. https://www.printables.com/model/869629-escom-amiga-4000t-door

@usferic looks good! Do you know if the a4000t mediator will allow you to still use the video toaster and related components? If so, you can use a PCI RTG card and a sonnet style PCI PPC card. Otherwise you'll have to get a Cyberstorm PPC and a Zorro RTG card.

this picture may answer your question @cloverskull

I have one in mine too due to it sitting over the ISA slots you will probably find full length Zorro cards will not fit

Ah darn. So looks like the answer here is that you wouldn't be able to use the video toaster. That's a bummer.

Overall the PCB is really bad quality, so you need to be extra careful when doing work to it.
You can get brand new 4000T PCB’s these days. Not sure if you meant poorly designed or poor quality. New boards could help with quality issues from the cheapskates at Commodore but not design flaws/errors. I have a board being built for me. Not sure what case it’s going in, but for damn sure not one of the original butt ugly Amiga tower cases.

Looks to be in perfect condition. Fine specimen.
😆 thats just a picture off BBOAH but according to @tbtorro who recapped my motherboard for me, he said it was one of the best condition mobos he had worked on.

Shame my case isn't in has pristine condition, its a wee bit yellowed and dented

Thank you! I'm proud of it. To be honest, I'm a noob when it comes to Amiga. When I was in middle school in the late 90s, I used a video toaster on a 4000D to create the graphics for my school's news show. I knew the toaster well, but I never learned how to use the Amiga. I suppose nostalgia led me to buy my 4000T. I don't personally know anyone who knows what an Amiga is, so I taught myself how to use it with the help of sites like this, and YouTubers like Chris Edwards. I won't be creating any videos on it. It's more of a hobby upgrading and restoring it. It can be incredibly frustrating at times. Learning Amiga DOS is like learning a foreign language to me, but when things finally "click", it's a great feeling. I'm hoping to make it last another 30 years.

I have an escom that ive not used for years, dug it out a few months ago and the audio board needs recap, probably the whole thing does, have a zz9900 card rand zulu scsi to put in it, and possibly pick up a terriblefire as im a bit worried about losing the cyberstorm :) .
Also have a micronik tower that needs some love too with ppc +prmetheus.

I have owned 4 or 5 of them over the years. I have still have one working one. It used to belong to a TV station (NRK for you Norwegians) at one time.

I also have the remains of one other. More or less just the motherboard and 2 of the 3 extra cards. The plan is rebuild it, once i can find a suitable tower, if ever. This one was once a beauty, but the previous owner... Used to belong to me before he got his sausage fingers into it, should have never let him nagg me into buying it. This one belonged to the local airport at one time along with a bunch of A4000Ds.

Will post some pics of my main one, once i find time to do so =). It has CyberstormPPC++. As others have said in here, it has not seen much use in recent times, but i did just remove OS3.9 and replaced the system with 3.2. So there is that. A fresh start for it :).

If i remember correctly, the company Enlight made the original tower case. Anyone ever tried sourcing one of those not meant for Amiga use, to see if it fits like a glove? :).

Unobtainable. I spent £60 just on getting drive brackets from Germany. That's how dire the situation is.
