you may have seen this before, but here is my jam-packed man cave

there are a few changes from when I took this picture but its more or less the same

Yeah it's crammed, but this has its own charm to it. Very authentic man cave vibes with everything all around you. I'm a fan (y)

Something like this, but then 4000T
Well, that's something, but that only gets you the position of Treasurer. The President chair requires integration of below type feature (image)...on a 4000 tower.

Timtheloon, impressive. I feel like you're missing a Pulp Fiction style reel-to-reel deck in this setup.

dont have the room lol

The thing is this picture only shows one side of the cave every inch is filled.

I wish I was in the club, I was one of the Doom victims in the 90’s letting my 2000 & 4000 go.

If anyone in Australia has one needing a good home… 😀

It's true. These are beauties. And it is the ultimate Amiga commitment to have a tower because of the space requirement. These owners are right to start a group because of that commitment. BUT...as of now, it still doesn't have a President! :-)

I had space, but it's just that I was in it to see what could be done. I don't regret selling them, they all have good Amiga owners, my first 4000T and the 3000T with signatures went to Benny, so both towers that I do care about, are still here in the Netherlands. Should anything happen, then I will buy them back and pick them up. The 3000T040 went to Germany to @Gambler https://www.amibay.com/threads/3000t-040-retina-z3-dkb3128-128mb.85986/ and the second 4000T went back to California, this was done by Marvin, so don't know exactly who has bought 4000T from him a few years ago.
That said, if I do find one for an affordable price, I will have no hesitation to buy it, or if one I sold comes back to me.

And we don't need a president for this, we need a leader, that leads by example.
@Tahoe has the 3500 also, besides some 4000T's and that was Commodore's step up to the 4000T.
A real 4000T would be good for this group, but even he doesn't have one

All this eye candy us non-tower owners have to look at and envy. But among it all..something is missing. None of these towers have what is in my mind a proper Amiga identifying mark a depressed/debossed AMIGA stamped into the case. All the most popular models have it, don't your towers deserve it too? :)

First person to show us a 4000 tower with this problem solved will get...our admiration! And will win the inaugural Presidency of the Amiga 4000T Owners Group. Identify yourself Mr. President! (Did I just sacrifice an A600 top cover as you make a 3 1/2 bay covers of Amiga Technologies label window insert?)
I did that too with my A1200 case back in 1994 and cut the Amiga logo and LED's to put them in a 5.25" bay...

@Timtheloon: that's one big tower case on the left, is that a PC?

Me too (A4000T) :) :check: It's seeing way too little use these days, I should really get it up and running more!

Who hasn't dreamed of owning “the mother of all Amigas” in 1994 😍

Congratulations @MindWalker, a great piece of computer history!

nice.. what godrive is that? i have one in my 1200 and 500.
is it just the same model but with bespoke faceplate?

Thought I'd post a pic of my 4T. The door is in a safe place while I added the GoDrive.
@utukku see your vertical double drive bay is that something you have designed and made or purchased somewhere? it's very cool 😎

Agreed with Timtheloon - that light-up logo is super cool. And I say that as someone that hates the current RGB light trend with computers lol

Hi, yes I converted it from the blank face plate. It has a HD floppy drive and the scsi zulu next to it. The Logo is just part of the 3D print with 3 white 12v LED's behind it. After I fully assembled it, it struck me I should have used 3 separate colours, and add the "Amiga" tick. I may still do that.

When I'm back home Sunday evening I will post the .stl file for it.

Ok, I tried to attach the files for the modified A4000T front panel, but it wont allow .stl files or .zip files. So I have uploaded them here:

Understand I'm not a pro 3D designer, but it worked for me. included is what I call a "lightbox" the point of this was to contain the light so it only shone outwards through the lettering. Probably better printing this in black though. This is where I put the 3 x 5mm 20 mA (forward voltage of UV 3.0V) LED's in parallel with a 100 ohm resistor, connected to a Hard drive molex connector via the psu 12v supply. I Will post pictures from the rear of it tomorrow evening.
