been browsing this thread this afternoon.

Does this switch between two chips? Could it potentially also be used for other chips?

Specifically, I have a flash rom adapter for the a500 in my Phoenixboard. The phoenix has a kick switcher built in. If I use the Kickflash the Phoenix switch won’t work. The logic of the kick switch lies in an adapter in which Gary is inserted. So the idea is to switch between Gary and a Gary with the adapter.

Could that work with this design? If so the I need one :) .

No, sorry, the KS switcher is not usable for other ICs than KS ROMs.

Here is the new pcb design for KS3.9 design.
I don't know if it's so interesting than that since the KS 3.1.4 is available, but the possibility is here!

Today, 7 ribbon switchers & 1 stand alone switcher tested.
PM will be sent to interested members tomorrow morning. :-)

Ive got a few of your original ribbon versions, they work great. They didn't have the jumper for the Rev5 A500 with 512k ROMs...do all the new versions have that now?

Id like 2 more without the ribbon if they have that feature...could you advise and Ill declare interest

Hi Ash,

I'm glad that you are satisfied with your switchers! :-)

Yes, the new version of the switcher includes the Rev selector jumper. And yes, this jumper is onto the stand alone and onto the ribbon version.

Two ribbon switchers for el-pasi and one ribbon switcher for gounderset are one the road for their new house since this morning! :-)
