2 gb partition, 4gb disk. With 64bit drivers more, though i havent tried that myself.
Attachment to mainboard signals could be done with some kind of press fit pins to pcb via holes.

Is the metallic shield is needed on an old a500. If i ask, it's because i can't put them with the ide rubber :/
Or in need to cut it...

And the second, where the ide pin 0 ? it's not written on the pcb.

Oops. Wrong way, pin 1 of cpu is seen at lower left of the lower picture of your post, also ide pin 1 can be seen.

I have thought about putting colorful epoxy dots on the pcbs to mark pin 1:s.
Also, maybe laser print pcb "silk screen" on stickers and attach them on pcb.

I dont know for sure if the metal shield will fit once you place the board other way around. Possibly the metal shield will need to be put aside.

After long research, yes, no pin 1 marked for the CPU :/

So if you are a noob :/ The mistake is possible.

I suggest you to update the first topic... With a clear instruction, i will do the solder, and put the correct way the 68kide v402 in the right way

So use the picture (use it please for helping noobs).

8meg ram board used modified code from LDV a600_8mb verilog.
The chip is rare, 5volt 4Mx16 edo (or fpm) dram. I think i will find parts to recycle from SIMMs to some 30 pcbs that were factory made quite many years back.
