Just covering all bases here (and asking on the forum so other people know the answer), I've currently got my order set up to deliver to my workplace. If for some reason circumstances dictate that the board can't be shipped out next week, will I be able to change the delivery address, otherwise it may be after xmas I get the board...

Should'nt be a problem aslong as it has'nt been packed and shipped.
You would need to raise a support ticket to ask for such a request.

mine should already be at home, but i can't check as i am on a business trip all week ... oh the agony

Lets hope the Hermes guy did not just drop it in front of the house or attempted to stuff it in the mailbox

Mines here.

Bit of a tight fit, the white connector is significantly wider than the old Blizzard cards, and the Harddrive seems to go missing if I use maprom. For some reason I can't get Silkcut demo to work, but in general everything seems to work, and it's seems faster than Blizzard30 @ 50.

Sysinfo reports it as 60.5, hmm....

I need more to time to play with it, for nothing is good unless you play with it. And all that is good is Nasty © George Clinton etc etc.

Arrived already? Oooh...

The Amigakit website says stock isn't expected until tomorrow - did you get it from them or somewhere else?

Anyway, I've just been hacking at my trapdoor with a stanley knife in preparation :D

Hopefully I get visited by the turbo fairy tomorrow then. s'not fair, your only seven miles in the smelly direction!

for some reason I typed "tommodore"

We are processing them in order. So yours should be in the second batch, which we are expecting tommorow.

@Amigarobbo:

Silkcut is an 060 demo, some parts even struggle on an 060@50 :)

Not according to the read me file. Also not according to my memory of running it on a 68030.

edited to add: But it does need a Floating point unit...

I just had a thought - the box is being shipped by RM small packages, so it doesn't need to be signed for, right?

I've asked AK if the box is small enough to fit through a standard letter box, and if it is, to deliver to my house. Don't know why I didn't think of this before

The box, is very small.
So it should fit through a regular letter box, but every letter box is diffferent these days.
Would'nt like to guess though.

However, the item will still need to be signed for- so the postman will not simply put it through the letterbox...

Ah. That might be a problem then. Might need to rethink the request. Any idea if the 28s are being shipped out today?

(BTW, I've added a comment to my support ticket about this)

No 28Mhz are going out today- the package from Germany has not arrived yet. I think it will arrive Monday after just looking at the tracking information.

Plus overnight we have had heavy snow here and it is snowing again now which is significantly disrupting our work today.
