All I can really say is "good enough for me". Supposedly 1.9ms delay only? Definitely better and a much sharper picture than the NEC LCD71V I also picked up recently.
1.9ms is imperceivable by our brain, so that's definitely not an issue.

Remember that above all else, it's factoring in both personal choice and the costs involved. If you are on a budget, then I would recommend the buffered VGA adaptor and a cheap VGA monitor solution.
@miggymad, I totally agree with the personal preference, there's no right or wrong in such things!

Yet, since the conversation started, why not get some 4:3 SCART LCD instead of a VGA one? Because they are fewer and you can't find new ones? Because, I suppose that if the SCART monitor can display Amiga's resolution and supports its refresh rate it would be ideal, right? (plus, it also transmits the sound)

@mamalos

We can only offer our own experiences and hope they both guide and/or offer alternative solutions to the problem.

FWIW with the sound from my A1200s, I first feed it into a small amplifier then out through some 8Ohm 100w wall mounted speakers.

There are heaps of options with powered studio monitors now too... or if you want to go retro look for Apple Design Speakers from 1993.

I went cheap ... My solution came from Fleabay and cost me less than 4 :coffee:'s from my local Starbucks :LOL:
