I’ve been out of the Amiga community for an awful long time now, So these systems have been sitting in my basement for a long time, and I’m just never going to use them again so I’d love to see them go to a better home. I could use a bit of advice however on the best way to sell them.

First, a summary of what I have:
- A3000. It has a graphics card, Cybergrafx I think. RAM is either 10 GB or 14 GB. It’s also has a 10baseT Ethernet card and a 68040 or 68060 CPU, and the famous pregnant mouse.
- A500 and A590 hard drive controller. I think it has some extra RAM in it too.
- lots of books and software

As for condition, there are a lot of unknowns because some of it hasn’t been powered on in 20 years. Last time I powered on the A3000, it booted fine, but many keys on the keyboard weren’t working, so it was hard to check things out throughly.

My question for the group is, are these more valuable as a system, or are the individual parts worth more? And if so, what parts are valuable? eg. I do have several megs of Zip RAM. Some of the chips may have been upgraded, can’t remember, what should I look for?

Any tips would be very appreciated, or pointers to FAQs or other sources. Thank you in advance.

I kinda hate to say it but I think breaking up some of the 3rd party items might be better. But at least keep the trap door RAM inside the 500.

Photos of the battery area would be very important. This is often damaged in the A3000. Whether 040 or 060 makes a big price difference. :-)

thread locked price discussions / valuations strictly prohibited on Amibay
