IF you were buying your first car and what car would be and why?
Oh, is that correct, small car with low Car register mean cheaper insurance?
Is it you learning to drive and buying your first car?
As already said, any new driver regardless of age will have to pay a lot for car insurance. Younger drivers are worse off though, with even a £500 1.2 Corsa costing an 18 year old £2000+ a year for car insurance. Insurance drops the most after you are 30 years old, and then it is mostly down to the number of years you have been driving and how clean your license and accident record is.
Whatever your age though... without any no claims bonus and only holding a license for a short time expect to pay well over £1000 and maybe even nearer to £1600!
You do need to shop around a lot though for the best deal. As a new driver if it is a cheap old car then you can save a lot by just taking out third party fire and theft instead of fully comprehensive insurance, but quite often depending on the car many insurance companies now insist on fully comprehensive insurance for new drivers.
As for the type of car to buy.. it depends on your budget. Try to find something with very low car tax (£30 or less), a high crash test EU rating of 5 stars, and a very small engine (1 litre) is probably your best bet. Also if you won't be doing too many miles a year (6000 or less) the cost will be lower.
The best deal for a new driver that will actually save you money would be a new car from a manufacturer like Peugeot. They are still doing their fuel only deal on new small cars such as the 208 which means you get free car insurance, free road tax, free servicing etc and just pay for the fuel for the first 3 or 4 years of ownership.
http://www.offers.peugeot.co.uk/just-add-fuel This is a great deal if you can afford the monthly payments and deposit on a new car. Will probably work out cheaper than buying a secondhand car and paying insurance (£500 car plus £110 tax plus £1600 insurance plus £54 MOT + £300 repairs for the year would equal £2564, whereas buying a new Peugeot 107 with everything included could be as low as £155 a month equalling £1860, possibly saving £704.. quite a lot!)
Failing that a good first car is something very small.
The cheapest to run and insure is the Ford KA. Followed by the Peugeot 107.
Others to look at are:
Citroen C1 (same car as the 107 but more expensive to insure)
Daewoo/Chevrolet Matiz
Nissan Micra
Fiat Seicento
BMW Mini
Renault Clio
Toyota Yaris
Peugeot 206
VW Lupo
Citroen C2
Got it back from the paint shop last night after its second respray and took it down to Killarney national park for a bit of a blast. I was good and only took it up to 130mph with the roof off and windows down

I mean, the MR2's 16 years old now so I have to treat her with a little respect.

Paint job looks really nice. Are you happy with it? That model MR2 was definitely the best looking by far. Still hasn't aged.
I have this Car for 3 days

There you go. Loads of people slag Peugeot off (being French) until they actually drive one, then they realise the handling is actually better than most other makes.
The 207 was a bit plastic inside but built quality was pretty good. 208 is a big step up in quality though.
