I have a question, the box looks like from the American version, and the Amiga is in the European version, some elements of the literature such as the questionnaire on the warranty registration card seem to be from the American version. And the user manual from the German version. Please tell me if I am right

Unfortunately, I can't say much about that, because I bought the device about 25-30 years ago. Since then, the A1000 has been well protected in my office and was only activated for 1-2 years.

Does it have the daughterboard inside or is it the later version with the chip ram on the motherboard? Makes a difference if someone looking to install a Rejuvenator.

From the "Commodore" logo on the front of the machine this would be a PAL A1000 (US machines did not have the blue "Commodore").

Can you see if there is a serial number visible anywhere on the box and write it here?

FYI: Serial# XM5053319 happens to be pretty close to XM5052507, which has been confirmed to contain a daughterboard.
Thanks for the link, as I had thought that all European versions didn't have a daughterboard, as they came out later. I wonder if it's possible that the Amiga in the link is an American version converted to PAL?

Early A1000s for the European market were fitted with a piggybacked NTSC mainboard with PAL Agnus (8367). Also, some minor modifications to the passive components surrounding the MC1377 composite video encoder chip were made. And a 220V PSU, of course. The fancy full color box was issued in the US only, so I'm certain that box and computer don't belong together.

I bought my A1000 in Germany. It was one of the first Amigas ever sold in Europe, and it came in the same fancy box. It had the daughterboard, of course, and contained a PAL Agnus, an NTSC quartz, and the software and handbook were in German. The warranty cards usually were in English.

I would only be marginally interested if it has the daughterboard as I have a spare Rejuvenator.
