I searched, I swear! Does someone know if running 4 pins for the 7 pin connector on the 2B to a PS2 female connector to match the A4000 keyboard pins will work?

I ask because I found the 7-pin 2B pin-out and there is no 5V noted. Cut me some slack please, I'm not an expert in electronics, is Vcc the 5V? I don't want to try without being sure and blow some keyboard controller. So...connect pin 1/2/6/7 out of those 2B 7 to a PS2 connector correctly and I can just pipe in the A4000 keyboard? What about the reset pins? Needed? Or can that be wired up to a "RESET" button somehow? If so, anyone know how?

Vcc and Vdd are positive power voltages.

Vee and Vss are negative power voltages or are connected to ground.

Sorry, can't help any further with your project.

Thank you.

So I should put my power meter to the Vcc pin and check for 5V+. Got it.

Yes...I bought a power meter...mostly for the continuity option in case there was a trace issue on the 500+ I bought...you know the story with the batteries there I'm sure. But it turned out OK in the end. But I am high tech and can now measure voltage. I'm thinking this Vcc, if that means positive voltage probably just means the 5V+ we're looking for on these keyboard pinouts.
