Amiga 3000 PSU restoration

PSU A3000 Restoration , new fan and new high quality capacitors Panasonic and Nippon Chemicon
A3000 PSU caps are very dificult to desolder be cause commodore give hard glue

after de solder 3x 3300uf , I tested capacity - conclusion capacity was very low that mean all 3300uf gone



If some on need caps list of A3000 PSU LITON , I have
photo after restoration soon , i'm waiting for new caps from ELFA DISTRELEC

voltage are excellent 12v will be higher after connect to MOBO thats normal
psu is ready for new long life

What fan did you choose? I went with silent fans from china, that were cheap and I'm very disappointed. Can't remember the brand name now, but they have a tiger or lion on the fan. They are loud until they settle down after 5 mins or so. Stay away from them.

Will check the fan when I get time for the brand name...
