Hello all I own a Computer electronics store in Florida I have been in the tech business 20 years I got this with some other stuff a few months back I will be honest not really in to Amiga stuff more in to older video game systems (laseractive, cd-i, 3do) with that being said if I miss a detail or you have further questions let me know now on to what I'm selling......

Amiga a1200 Rev 1d1 with a 540mb hard drive ( hard drive is unknown condition but assumed to be bad) M1230 XA accelerator board with ram ( unknown amount of ram) also comes with original Commodore power supply I am asking $500 US Dollars plus shipping cost to your location really only wanting to ship to the US but might consider shipping to outside of the United States depending on where you are at. Only taking PayPal payments

I tested the Amiga and it power on and post to a Commodore screen and is waiting for a disc to be inserted (I assume hard drive is bad and can not read any bootable data.... again hard drive does sound like a bad hard drive it ticks more then it should even for an old hard drive)........

So as you can see in the pictures I decided that I should take pictures as thoroughly as I can I carefully disassembled the unit and took pictures of everything reassemble the unit taking pictures as I went along till it was completely back together I wanted to make sure that any interested people know exactly what they are getting it and its condition. The unit is an overall pretty good shape no cracks or anything like that what you see is what you get.. I can only post a max of 10 pictures i have lots more then that and can sent them upon request

As a new user could you please post a photo of the 1200 with a piece of paper showing your forum name and todays date?

It's something we've been asking of new/newish members to prove ownership of the item being sold.

Payment received. Sold to @Bannon..... Thanks
will be shipping tomorrow.

So since item is bought and paid for should I still update a picture of the 1200 with a piece of paper showing my forum name and today's date?

It more to give the buyer a warm fuzzy feeling that you actually own the machine being shown up for sale.

Though rare, every so often there are some bad eggs trying to sell Retro Equipment they do not actually own, using pictures from other websites like Ebay and so on.

^^ +1

@Hmchugh

Yes please. Thanks
