About that mouse / joystick part cover, note that i couldn't put one on my main rig's ACIIL mobo because it seems the DB9 ports which have been soldered are too thick. Thus, i don't use it. I feel that a thinner cover would be better for everyone with a non Commodore mobo (metal or plastic, whatever).

I think it might depend on who put the ACILL together and what parts were used. I seem to recall out of the 2 I have, the one in the Desktop case will fit with the mouse/joystick metal cover. But as that saying goes “ Your mileage May Vary”

I can't say precisely, i just couldn't put the mobo in place with the port cover.
Anyway, no need to worry for this case because i do have other A4000 mobo which will fit with the genuine cover port.

The one for my case mounts differently, however I could make some for the original case if there is enough interest in them.

I found out that there was already a replica of the backplate made, so I think it makes sense to buy one of those already constructed.

They are spray painted with 2K polyurethane as we have to custom mix the paint as it isn’t close to any RAL or Pantone colour.

So, i count 21 cases and 9 top covers.

Yes I am doing some extra as the list is still growing, I don’t want to be starting again in two weeks time! I’ve not finished making the top covers and I already have 4 painted. There are still all internal parts to make for the cases too!
