AMIGA CASE : Officially licensed by Amiga Inc.

Dear Amigans, Amibayers,

I am very proud and exited to announce the AMIGA CASE project is now officially licensed by Amiga Inc., which means the original Amiga logo will be on the AMIGA CASE.

Its going very fast now and you can expect the launch of the campaign soon.

Next week I'll come with a more detailed update.

Great news!!
I add an idea: a new housing for Amiga 600 with Vampire 2/Furia accelerators and having bay for CD-ROM, hard drives, etc.. with similar design.

I've got an A4000 keyboard attached to my A600, but I don't know if you can get an adapter to attach directly to the ribbon cable on an A1200 keyboard. I doubt it would be very hard to do. :)
 
Officially licencing the Amiga logo gives me more confidence, and the price is very appealing. I especially like the idea of building a Mini ITX PC machine in this.

Will the Raspberry Pi 3 work too now ? Seems the PI people put out a new one before we can blink !
 
Raspberry Pi 3 is claimed to be compatible with all Pi 2 cases, so I'm sure it will also fit this case.
 
If you take a look at the video from 1.36 min. you can see the difference.
Left in the video is the Commodore Amiga 1200. The cases from Amiga Tech. were lighter.

Good to hear you're getting closer. When you say white, do you mean original Amiga 1200 white or a different 'white'?

Dear Amigans,

As promised a more detailed update.

Launch is nearby. If everything goes as planned the project will be launched in the week of 11-18 April 2016.
Awaiting confirmation from my preferred manufacturer concerning the timeline of the project.
Secondly I am trying to get one more official supporter to join the project. Launch of the project is not depending on that.
As stated earlier, AMIGA CASE is now officially licensed by Amiga Inc. so I added some pictures of the AMIGA CASE with the original Amiga Logo.
Prices of the AMIGA CASE are unchanged.
