Declaring interest.
Amiga 4000D rev. B motherboard battery damage repair, recap, and SIMM socket replacement. Had previously engaged direct via PM, and forgot to declare interest publicly in this thread. PM's exchanged, and board in transit to hese as of 29 December.

hese is a SUPERSTAR!
Decided to send him my burnt out A1200 board after a few exchanges and free advice from him as I felt it was out of my league, once he got it he was very quick to start diagnosing, kept me informed along the way, identified the root cause, offered sensible advice and upgrade suggestions with no pressure whatsoever, fixed everything up and sent it back to me and it's working fine, I'm beyond thrilled.
On top of that - very fairly and reasonably priced in my opinion. The most expensive item ended up being shipping back from Finland...ouch
but it is what it is, and I'm super happy having it fixed, even if in my view I'd rather have hese getting more of the money for his awesome work, and UPS less

A4000D rev. B motherboard battery leakage repair, recap, and new SIMM sockets. Also, custom rework project on two SCSI-to-CF drives. PM sent and replied to. This is in addition to an earlier project still in work, so cannot declare interest a second time.
