I have this adapter in my 1200.
I see no difference at all compared to the adapter that I have made with just wires (unbuffered).
The same not very noticeable vertical lines, but exactly the same in 3 different monitors.
Anyone with a 1200 who'd like to share his experience?
Thank you.

Hi @livewindarefail
I am having similar issues with vertical bars not completely removed as mentioned in my previous post here.
I will have to try a different adapter to see if there is a difference with my Dell monitor.

Check what is inside the hood of the adapter, if there is RGB amplifier fitted.

That's inside. Should I bake it to take it apart?
My guess is a LS08 but as you see the seller is not helpful enough.

Someone tries to hide something, that is funny :)
Unless you remove that blob you can not be sure what you have purchased.
If you see LS08 it is for hv sync buffering. Now lets try to uncover the rgb amplifier (if it is present). If not you have just buffered adapter.

If you are sure that the problem depends on the adapter, why don't you send it back so I can check it?

I confirm that the adapter received confirms what was sold as it features a buffered system which may also be different from the much celebrated 74LS08 (electronics is a very vast field), the same thing also applies to this trite amplifier (there are many models and various systems)

Therefore if you want to proceed with chiseling the adapter together with Amiguon you are free to do so, but then I do not accept complaints or other discussions.

I would like to point out that today there are thousands of people who happily use it

Everything is written in a constructive way
If you want to send me back I'm available
