Another CF card install issue

Hello everyone,

Well I am at wits end trying to get my 4GB CF card setup in my A600.
At the moment I have a 4mb kipper board install and 3.1 roms.
The CF is a Transcend 4GB 133x.

I have partitioned the drive using PFS3AIO using recommendations I have read from multiple sites.
dostype 0x50465303
Mask: 0x7FFFFFFE
Max Transfer: 0x0001FE00
Buffers 150 for normal size drives
Buffers 250 for larger drives
CF setup as follows
250MB for DH0
1.8GB for DH1
1.8GB for DH2
I have installed ClassicWB successfully.
Now my problem is when I start to copy of WHDLoad games over to the CF from my PC using WinUAE.
Sometimes it can copy over a full set of games but then when I run the add game script get the following errors.

ALERT:
Wrong dirblock id

This error can also occur just when I am copying files over.

I have formatted the card multiple times using FFS and PFS3. I am starting to think the card could not be compatible.

Shouldn't be this hard. Any advice on this one?

A 4gb CF like transcend is 3.7-3.8gb so your partition sizes might be the issue.

OS3.9's Toolbox uses 0x0001FE00 by default so I guess he's using OS3.9's toolbox, for 3.1's HDToolBox I've always used 0x1FE00 as you say. (I think this is the same value?)

I prefer using 3.9's toolbox though as it seems easier to setup advanced file systems and gets the correct partitions sizes
