Apollo 1240 and timing fix?

Hy guys,
i've got an Apollo 1240/40 and 32mb. I've found that with some operations, i got errors. For example using LHA and unpacking the reqtoolslib.lha i regularly get the same errors. So, i've made different test with the same CF WB installations, the same files (the ones that gets errors) and i find this:
if i remove the 32mb ram, no more errors.

My question is: it's simple could be a defect ram or this is "normal" without a timing fixed mainboard?

the fix square signal 28mhz on board

you need remove oxide on connector of mainboard, on apollo and on apollo socket simm
