I designed a PCB for this great Arduino based Amiga floppy disk reader/writer project (GPLv3). And also designed a small 3D printed case for it. I've converted about 1000 non-copy protected Amiga disks to .ADF format with this, so its great for basic reading/writing, but if you happen to have copy-protected and non-standard disks, then KryoFlux is recommended (I also have that one for non-standard disks).

Do you still have these available?

Very VERY interested.

Do you still ship to the US?

I just found a whole bunch of Amiga disks!! Very excited!!

This is use in the Armiga with Floppy build in(they called it the Floppy Controller Board),You could get this to work with a Armiga without floppy. You uses the RX and TX from where is connects to the MiniUSB board and connect it To Rx and TX on the CubieBoard2 in side the Armiga. Just wanted people to know.. :)

I might not be interested.
My A500 is no longer booting.
I thought I could use this plus a pc drive and copy my old disks to adf.

Going to do a bit of research.

Yes, these are still available. I just added video demoing adf writing: to main post.
You don't need Armiga with this. This can be used with normal pc drive and Windows to read&write adf disks.

And yes, non-EU countries does mean that US is included as shipping destination.

I'd love two of those + floppy cables. Perth, Western Australia.

Forgot to ask, what diameter power supply connector? 5V 2A enough?

Replied with details in pm. Power plug is standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm and 1A should be enough, but yes, I always order at least 2A when ordering from ebay/china, that way it provides at least 1A :)

Does it ship with 2.2 flashed already or do I need to follow the instructions in orig post? Just wondering.

Never mind... I found the answer. I'm a bonehead. lol

Hi guys,
did any of you had problems with reading the disks made with this device on the amiga?
I built one myself and even if the software reads, writes and verifies ok I get bad blocks reading on the amiga.
Tried 6 different floppy drives, 3 different power supplies, and a lot of discs. On the amiga side there is no problem at all reading originals and copies made by someone else.

I'm open to every suggestion and sorry if I'm posting here but I didn't find any other place to talk about this project.

Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Arduino forum is for generic chat about the project. Lets leave this tread for the sales of cased implementation of the project.

Hello, I would like to purchase one of these if possible. I'm brand new to Amibay so if you could just help me through the process a bit. ;)
