Hello.

To use the cliche, back in the day, I started on a Microtan 65 before progressing to the Atari ST. When I was forced to 'get a proper job', I was fortunate enough to work as a developer for a company writing GEM software. Now I write Java where it takes megabytes to produce a 'Hello, World' program that was done in a (relative) handful of bytes 'back the day'.

I acquired a couple of STs and a TT a number of years ago which sat on the shelf until recently when I went to the Retro Computer Exhibition at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge (UK) and saw lots of memories (and a lot of grey hair!). I fired up my TT earlier this week and have discovered that the hard disk is 'not well' so I've been looking a modern SCSI replacements and that brought me here!
