Best Game Music?

The intro music to Pinball Dreams on the miggy. I can close my eyes and imagine Tony Banks from Genesis playing that synth solo.

Legend Of Zelda. All of it, though particularly the overworld theme on most Zelda :p

Gliderrider music on the Spectrum 128K was awesome, I use to load the game up just to listen to it, my favourite Amiga music was Pinball Illusions, superb !!!

Some of my favorites:

Dune (PC)
Blood Money (Amiga)
Crusader (PC)
Monkey Island 1 & 2 (with the MT-32 it's even nicer)
Captain Blood (Atari ST)
Exolon in-game (Atari ST)

Captain Blood music was amazing. Jarre soundtrack and I was a huge fan. I actually had the Atari ST version at the time, and it was better than the later Amiga port.

However my favorite music that moved me the most was Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation. And still is up there. I think that was the game that really moved the bar in terms of game production and audio. Finally on the same level with films.

Sonic CD (Jap soundtrack)

Sonic Adventure had a pretty awesome soundtrack too...

It's so 90's :D

None talked about Battle Squad (Amiga) and the final music of Portal (re-used in the Amiga tribute by Eric Schwartz), Still Alive.
