!BEWARE! 3DFX scammer on eBay

Especially when it's happening to retro lovers...
Hi,
I have cut all ties with him ever since this thread was posted. I don't have his hardware anymore. I've helped him over the years occasionally with replacing capacitors on old motherboards but that's about it. I cannot and will not share personal information with anyone as that would be illegal, its called doxing and it is punishable by law. I'm pretty sure it won't be an issue for authorities to track him down with the information you already have.
Reason number 1 why I gave up my Ebay account, Paypal and Visa card and when the Dutch place Marktplaats became Evilbay, I gave that up as well, wasn't using it anyway.
To date I only trade on Amibay, Amigascene.nl and in person on meetings.
You just can't trust them there and reviews are just fake, they were already generated with bots, but now with AI, the sky is not even the limit!
They have quite literately have these accounts generating fake reviews everywhere, just to say, hey we got great reviews

Why dont you file a claim with ebay? They basically always side with the buyer-they have to for buyers to trust them.
Simply submitting the tracking evidence it went somewhere else than your on file shipping address should trigger immediate refund in full.

Ahh ok. Then you have no protection from eBay and if you do report it to them they likely won’t take too kindly to people trying to cut them out of their slice of the transaction. Police may be your only resort. Next time spend the extra couple bucks and go through eBay.
Its all about the payment method
We at amibay constantly repeat ourselves.
Use a protected payment method especially when your guard is down when that unicorn item you’ve been looking for magically appears at a good or even silly low price and the seller is pressuring you to act quickly and send via bacs or western union or even PayPal friends

Alert the Italy Tax Revenue because in ebay he is listed as a private seller. But the amount of sales is too big for a private seller. And that is the reason why these people always try to avoid ebay and arrange the sale outside of ebay.
I have learned my lessons, too. But for this amount of money you can even consider to visit italy and collect the items by yourself.

A few minutes ago, I spoke with my lawyer about this case. He told me that it may be difficult to make this guy face consequences, but not impossible.
The first step is to file a complaint with the police, including all the evidence (payments, emails, etc.), and wait for a response.
The second step - the hardest - is to sue him. This will require both time and money. Time, I believe I have; money, thankfully, I also have.
Suppose I win the case (and I have every chance to), he will be hit hard. He will be forced to pay a significant amount of money.
