Hi.

I read on this thread about people running theor BFG9060 at 75MHz. Is this stable yet? I believe the A4000T has Zorro issues running at 100MHz, so running at 75MHz would be perfect for me.

Unfortunately, it's not stable yet. I know that Matze gets back to the topic from time to time, but all he tried so far was unstable (if working at all.)

The problem with different speeds obviously lies in the fact that there are subtle timing differences between any two given Amigas that don't play a role at "usual" speeds, but surface once you go into "odd" or very high speeds.

Why aren't older accelerators affected by this, you might ask. There are reports of Apollo 4060 cards running at 96 MHz without problems.
The answer (probably) lies in the aggressive RAM-timing of the BFG9060, coupled with DMA. SDRAM chips with 6ns access time just weren't available back then, so under the hood, the old cards worked much more conservatively.

Anyway, we should never give up hope that Matze still finds a solution one day.
