Here's a minor update. Not much due to non-hobby obligations...

All 4 pots are in place, and wiring has started.

Got these two beauties in the mail today, all thanks to TheCorfiot!!!
These are Kwik-Lok T-handles, that will be placed on the ejection seat.
Bas was kind enough to bid for me on an evilbay auction, and we got lucky in the end.
Thanks Bas, you're a true gent!

Just a few pics of stuff i'm preparing while glue is drying on other parts..

I know these don't mean much yet, but as soon as it's assembled you'll have a better picture. :)

Here's the other side of the box assembled. Lots of putty work and sanding ahead.. :)

Just a preview of how pieces come together..

Me too, Leo...

Ultra-busy day today!
These pics don't do justice to the result, there's so much more detail to be added, lots more putty to use, and plenty of sanding before painting it..

You guessed it, the magnifying glass is for the HUD indicator.. :)
Stay tuned!

Nice progress Salaxi.

With all your fabrication skills maybe you could make molds and replicas of your parts as you're going along and sell them to the flight sim communities.

Thanks for the good words my friends! I really don't want to mess much with molds and such, spent so much dough without any good results while doing the Walker replica project, :banghead: thus... i'll keep it solo. :)
Now, what should i name this picture? Perhaps 'putty-party' or 'silly putty'?

Anyway, God knows i hate sanding, but it's a must in such cases...
A few more rounds and she'll be heading for paint.

Another minor update, started the HUD's glass-holding brackets.

Best finish those off first, and then do the paint job of the assembly... :)

Amazing HUD module so far but you may wish slim down the HUD Glass holder or you'll compromise your vision. The F16 unit below doesnt extend much at all past the glass, is more upright and seems to minimize sideways vision blockage. :)
