I have received my TF536, great package

I put the card insid the CDTV but I have a black screen. No sign of life at video.
The 030 become hot and this should be fine since temperature is normal hot.
I was wondering what should be the cause:
- I have a kickstart switch with one chip: 1.3, 3.1 and diagrom. I switched to 3.1 naturally, but nothing happens (without the card the CDTV is working fine with all the three KS rom).
- I have a megachip with 2 mb of chip ram installed in my CDTV. This Is also working fine.
- I have 2.35 roms, they should be fine (working well without TF536) but they have been burned by a friend of mine.
- the 68K socket Is used, i have installed many expansion in the years and i could be not enough tight to grip the pins of TF536

What do you suggest?
I hope the cause Is the kickstart switcher.
Unfortunately I do not have another 3.1 KS rom.

Hi,
Im sorry to hear card isn't working as expected.
First of all I would like to inform that Your card was tested before shipping and it has passed all tests, so damage on the shipping way is possible should be kept to last though..

Please check gold pins on the card - are these all in place? None of them is bent/broken?

If Your card was set up with Blocksize of 512 - booting takes longer, try to wait a little bit more (1-2 minutes).

Did You try to turn it on without CF card? CDTV boot screen should appear...

What does DiagROM do? Does CDTV comes up with it?

Can You test this card in another Amiga? A500 for example? It should work there..

And last - if You can't diagnose the problem and believe card is not working - I can take a look on it, please send it back to me ( my address is in PM) if it's broken -You'll get another one

Hi DjCook, finally a new 3.1 KS rom arrived and after having installed it I can confirm that TF536 is working fine
Only issue the speed of CF reading is not so good since I have to change the blocksize of my partitions.
But does It means I have to reinstall all my AmigaOS system, right?
