Sorry for such a delayed response CDTV now upgraded with the CDTV version of the TF536 fits in nice and snug sadly it won't work with the developer CDTV extended rom board but I knew that and it was the reason I went for roms too

System now full upgraded with 2mb chip and @solarmon CDTV RGB2HDMI version 2 with 9 pin Joystick outputs.

I do have a question about the IDE speed mine seems slow just wondering if others find this and what the have done to improve on it if you can.

Your question was already answered in FAQ!

1. Please use bigger Blocksize, seems You have a CF card with 8GB or greater. It takes longer because Amiga reads whole disk table at boot, so go for 2048 or better 4096 blocks.

2. Although it is plastic CPU that is installed - it is a full CPU with MMU, so please install MMULibs and activate uFASTROM (as a part of it), this will copy Kickstart in FastRAM and give a great boost.
