I have designed a small PCB that fits inside the CDTV and keeps the clock chip powered when mains power is disconnected.
It does not keep the display on, as the CR2032 (not supplied) does not have enough power to drive the display.

Kits include the PCB, all wires, screws mounting posts.
Cutting and soldering to IC legs required as part of installation.

Cost is £20 plus shipping. (PM with address for shipping costs)

10 kits for sale.

Edit:
Declaring interest.
Please PM me email address, and I`ll be in contact

I'm interested, but would like to asked a question before putting my hand up to buy one.
Does it come with instructions, I don't mind soldering, just so long as I have clear instructions on what goes where :)

Hi. So soldering is required o the mobo? Unfortunately i can't do this myself.
Or is it on the kit itself?

There is 2 solder points:
1: cut and lift a pin from one IC, and then solder a wire to that pin.
2: Solder a wire across two adjacent pins on another IC

Interest withdrawn. (was previously declared here)
