Can I ask what is the advantage of this approach when new replacement PSU-s cost same amount of money, or even less?

Hi, I'm sorry but I'm not sure what new PSUs (for less than €27 shipped) you are referring to. This product is meant to be a high quality and safe, not cheapest possible solution.

One "big" advantage with this replacement is that you can keep on using your beautiful stock PSU :)
