Packages are on the way to jap and 68k. Another three adapters have been sold outside Amibay in the meanwhile, so 22 now remain for sale
- sorry for late answer (for your record: got my mini xum1541 on Friday, April 21th)...
i'm very happy with my new toy! it's a simple and inexpensive way to do backup of my old floppies. but, for those who doesn't have a commodore 1571 disk drive, you may be disappointed with the performance (read transfer speed, i.e. you will *not* get a 55 seconds backup copy of 683 blocks as showed in the video ad...). i realized that mini xum1541 probably utilize burst mode for the commodore 1571 disk drive before i bought it, so it wasn't a surprise for me... if you have a good old commodore 1541, 1541-II or 1541 clone, etc. you will get (maybe) two and a half minutes (see below) backup copy which i think is ok after all since it doesn't use burst mode.
my drive is a 1541 clone (oceanic oc-118n), but i think the numbers will be the same for the original as well since those disk drives can't manage burst mode.
also, i had to add the "-t original" option for the "d64copy" command to get 440 bytes/second copy, or the speedier "-t s1" option for the "d64copy" command to get 1200 bytes/second instead (no other options worked...). by default, "d64copy" tries to autodetect which "transfer protocol" to use, which didn't work with my disk drive (because it's a clone with jiffydos 5 installed, maybe...?).
i tried my mini xum1541 both in linux and windows 7. the device driver (VERSION 0.4.99.98, BETA STAGE! January 13th, 2016) for the mini xum1541 seem to work better in the windows 7 environment compared to linux (using libusb-dev version 2:0.1.12-30). for example, i had to re-plug the usb connector every time after the "d64copy" to be able to re-issue the "d64copy" for every new backup - this was not necessay in windows 7.
best wishes
