Assembled and working, thanks.:thumbsup:

Tried cbm4win 0.4.99.97 (ALPHA!) for windows 64 bit version with xum1541 plugin but not working, then used 4.99.93 version for 32 bits and got it working.

Kit in a 3D printed case.
Printed on a Makerbot 2 on fine settings via the Sketchup file in the thread :):):)

Cool, first one I've seen I think apart from mine :) Looks like it turned out nicely.
 
Fits pretty well. I'd change the lid for FDM prints to a tab/notch design to be more secure, but otherwise surprisingly accurate with FDM. I'll see if I can get my 3D guy to model something in a week or so and post it if you are keen?
 
Well, I haven't got a 3D printer of my own, but consider the case design free to do whatever you wish with :) Maybe others here would benefit from a more easily printed model. I designed the original version with laser sintering in mind so it does have some rather small features.
 
@sweetlilmre please DO post that revised 3D model, I'd like to give it a try on a local 3D print shop around here! :D

The post service regulations have changed here a bit, and it turns out I can no longer fit the DIN socket in a regular letter, since it exceeds the maximum size of 2 centimeters. I have updated the first post with the details and options. This is very annoying but nothing I can do about it unfortunately...
