I got a PC30-III. It's a nice machine and all for a 286, but it has a dead dallas rtc battery and that needs to be socketed for later repairs... however. Beside stripping a screw that made removing the mainboard as hard as getting Trump away from Twitter, I was greeted with this.. Need to make some room so I can fit a soldering iron under the rats nest:

Wow! Was that a factory mod?

I really like the Commodore PC series of machines. They were actually quite nice clones.

Yea, looked factory to me. Nice pcs, but the case design leaves a lot to be desired. Not the look, but the internal build. but I presume many 80s/90s cases were badly laid up.
