right, im tired of being sent rgb cables made by amigakit, that need to be fixed after

if you cant do them properly, dont do the damn things in the first place.

whats with all the hot glue on a cable on 9 pin plug when it comes with a cable strain clamp??? that didnt get used in the first place
and shitty soldering, dont give me the crap you cant get 23 pin sockets either never looked on ebay and seen cables made by other people?
where do they get them from
damn cables arnt much cheaper than ones made elsewhere

plus at least make the damn effort to look at the pinout for specific monitor cables before making them and sending them out to people

we end up fixing this stuff, and im getting tired of doing it because your customers cant be bothered to go through your convoluted ticket system to put stuff right

You are right. Cables should be made durable enough, so they can withstand everyday use. When I make cables, it proved good for me to heat shield the wires at solder contacts and when finished, glue the connectors. This way they are rock solid.

glue the connectors? why would you want to do that?

I meant inside the connector case, so the wires stay in place even if pressure is applied on the cable, same way like the factory moulded ones.

I bought one for my amiga 1200 a few years back one pin was cut off and very roughly fitting was a joke it has never fitted correctly.

Which cable, how are you exactly fixing them (considering they are tested before shipping) and which monitor (as if it doesnt work on your monitor, then its not ment for your monitor). Not once have we been contacted regardinging this, instead you post here.

maybe reading the first post might help?

all rgb cables have crappy build quality that ive been sent,as for it being here, this is amirant so as far as im concerned its in the right place

its any and all rgb cables made by amigakit that have been sent to me with a monitor for repair

imagine being sent at a customers expense no less a monitor that is suspect rgb port fault or no sync to find it has a rubbish cable, thats not cheap on shipping
you know what your making, and i dont care less for you testing to see if it works or not,its the build quality and shoddy wirring thats the problem

next one i get i have to fix,ill be posting pictures

edit:just had a look at your site one the last cables i was had to fix isnt listed,it was for a 1084D cable that was sent was for a philips
person who ordered it was told it was for his monitor,it was the wrong connector wrong wiring and built rubbish
another one was a scart cable filled with hot glue and missing a strain clamp, whats that about?
its been going on for a while, years probably i know amigakit like their gluegun

Still didnt answer, how are you fixing them. Apparently they all have something wrong with them and you haven't bought one and your complaining the most.
Could it be possible the customer ordered the wrong cable? as we would not have told them it was compatible, if it was not. That would just be stupid.

you didnt answer me either, why are the cables filled with hot glue that look they are made by a yts kid

totally not taking any notice of the crap build or why im ****ed off at having to fix them, maybe a excuse like they are cheap mate, dont worry about it..

and why wouldnt i damn well complain? if im fixing them, did you read any of it? and you need to ask me if its stupid?

i dont care,if the cable was ordered by mistake, how many years does it take to perfect a cable

I have read everything you posted. I want to address what you said about fixing every cable. I asked how, considering they are all tested with 1084S before shipping. So Im trying to find out why your fixing them, if they are shipped out working.

which 1084? there are about 5 variants.

let me explain something calmly, then ill call it a day

if a person asks me what cable goes with a monitor ill tell them what cable to order, thats after they read to me whats on the back if i dont have the monitor already
then they order a cable if they havnt already when it arrives someone might send me the cable as its for their monitor, not mine
then, when it arrives in the bag marked as if its for this monitor i use it,when it dont work i get one of mine out
then when it works with mine i take this one that arrived apart to see why it dont
obviously im re-wiring it to make it work, sometimes chopping the connector off because i cant be bothered to hack through a ton of hot glue to desolder wires

which is doing these a favor really,as most ive seen dont even have a strain relief collar in place, which is odd really as im pretty sure they came with one

if you would wonder why a cable would break on others, thats a good way of breaking one and having wires come loose in the plug, thats another reason to fix them no amount of hot glue will stop that
if i say the strain relief is missing, its missing.and thats a cable waiting to fail

you can plug these into a monitor once and it be fine, thats ok.but later its a problem while its in use
i have seen this on monitor cables and the scart cables

i dont care how cheap the cables are,i dont care if they are tested or what they are tested on,the build does matter later on
i dont have to fix many, thats not the point, its process thats not needed when im looking at the monitor if its sent for repair
i expect a cable to work, unless its old

surely, that is understandable to not want to give a customer a unwanted bill for shipping something that dont or shouldnt need fixing

just take it onboard, thats all i ask

Pictures please or it has never happened ... Would be nice to see some evidence.

Thats fine. I understand what your saying. Just want to make it clear the cable we sell is clearly marked for the Variants it works with.
We get alot of customers just assume and some even skip over important text in the description.

Im more annoyed that not one customer in over 6+ years has said anything at all. You also have to remember this is our living, its not a side job run from a bedroom after we finish our normal day job. This is our normal day job.
