Ok, so it may have gotten better with age, but when Dawn of War II was new I was playing it a lot with a friend, however GFWL was so unstable, that one of us was booted several times per session, having us loose the battle, xp - etc. This carried on for at least a year and left a very sour taste in my mouth. Other complaint is how obnoxiously difficulty it is to back up save games and how easy it is to get the dreaded "save game corrupted" message in Batman: AA.
I don't have anything against the idea of GFWL - actually quite like having my GFWL with my XBox achievements

Now GFWL is dead, well I think 2-3 more games will have it. I wonder what they are doing with win 8, is it just xbox live but on ze PC. I need to google it.
I think that would make very good sense, since they have an outstanding infrastructure already built around it. Port an API and pitch to the developers that they needn't change a single line of code to make Windows Live work.

OK got around it, no GFWL at all so can't save with offline profile. Not that I care as I could play this over and over, and I will at one stage lol. I find using 1920x1080 makes it a bit blurry actually so I am actually playing this at its native 720p res. Little tiny sneak peak at her running on the PC.

Nah I am locked at 30fps, but to give it it's due it feels very smooth. At the start my GPU was 5% and my CPU was 20% LOL
But I am done with it now until tomorrow, get it unlocked and start getting some achievements

If it runs 30 without drops it ought to feel pretty darn smooth. 60 would just make it a bit more responsive - considering the material (ie not twitchy stuff).

30 solid atm. Also a guy on another forum has fixed 1080 so it now renders at 1080 and not 720
Took him 23 mins to do it with screenshots.
Another guy managed to remove the 30fps cap but it makes the game run super fast, so may have to wait on that for awhile.
