21 m8 (I have 4 characters atm), but I kind of messed up. After the gargoyles I had about 13000 souls. Then I saw this guy when leaving the area and gave him about 10000 to clear my sins. I wish I had not done that and just leveled up more :( So these are not as good as they should be. My weapons take some chunks of him but I just can't beat him lol

 
allright, you can take the Titanite Demon easily with a bow... get a longbow and some 100 arrows (just in case) and run past him at the door that leads to Darkroot Garden. Now he will come as far as the stairs and he will stay there shooting lightning at you. Just target him with R3 and move left<->right at the door (from behind) , stay at the left a while for example so he shoots at you , when he does that you move right and fire an arrow... if you hit him for ~30dmg it will take 25-30arrows IIRC and he will be gone forever... but there are others to kill too, they drop precious Demon Titanite upgrade material :D

I forgot to mention that IIRC you can't summon at that specific post.... the whole blacksmith area is out of limits

Hi m8

Ta I will grab some arrows, no you can't summon near the blacksmith but you can as soon as you run past the demon and out the other side. Well it allows me to drop my summon sign there anyway.
 
^ yes but if you summon the in the forest area then a fog will cover the door to the demon so it won't be any good for killing him

Ah makes sense. No matter though, I got myself 70 arrows and stood by the back door like you said. He got owned :) only got a Demon Titanite though I wanted a new weapon lol, don't have anything to use it on yet :)

yeah the catchpole drops are on the rare side of drops, on the next one you can try having some humanity as to increase your drop rate... no need to be alive, just have it in the counter.

For a 0 humanity char the drop-rate is 100 , with 1 you go to 150 and then it's a +8 for any extra up until 300 IIRC

Thanks m8 :) Still much to learn on this game :) I found some cool Armour though and a ring that calls me in to invade worlds if they attack the forest part :)

 
be carefull when you join/leave covenants, you need to go to the church guy and leave a covenant before you join another else you get sinned and become a target of "Blades of the Darkmoon" (blue invaders - spirits of vengenace) :D

Maybe I am, I do own the bad guys in my areas. Is it true that if you are a knight you should get about 20-30 strength and stop then upgrade weapons? Same as magic 20-30 intelligence then upgrade whatever. I keep seeing this on forums.

Yeah I get nothing at all, so its my level or god knows. Did have a few last night though.
 
well yeah, you stop upgrading at some point and invest in Stamina/health.... depends on your character build actually and the weapon you like... don't be alarmed the first couple chars are always on the crappy side :lol:

haha, I started a new guy last night. Made far to many mistakes and wasted souls :) Trouble is, I love this game so much I could play again and again. 13 hours down the toilet :thumbsup:
 
I just hope it catches me this time. Played the PS3 copy I have, but only a couple of sittings. Looking forward to it :)

It is pretty straight forward, just open the .ini file and set your screen res. All other options are fully explained. Set them as high as possible for better looks, if you get frame drops just drop them down slightly. To be fair any machine should really be able to max it out without drops. But saying that it seems some do have issues, but that's what makes PC gaming so special right :lol:
 
Right when are we going to get some co-op action. I am happy to start a new character just for some Amibay action. Finding humanity to keep the game going could be an issue though. I ran out last night and took me 2 hours to find some lol.
