Hiya!

I just got a DCE Flicker Magic adapter but I now realize it does not come with the Alice adapter, it has been desoldered in the past so I am completely missing it:

It is only 2 connections to Alice (I guess H-Sync and V-Sync?) but if someone has this can verify the pinout I would appreciate the help!

Thanks in advance! :D

OK, maybe I am not missing anything as my scandoubler looks like this:

MMViX9T.jpg

and according to this EAB post from 2008 (that I also participated) it means that the needed signals are getting connected using the DB23 connector on the connectors board... I have forgotten so much amiga knowledge...

still I would appreciate some confirmation as there is desoldering signs on the 2 points the alice board connects to the main pcb :)

edit:
verified that the H+V Sync pins on the DB23 connector are indeed having continuity to the 2 unsoldered vias
now I am tempted to replace that connector pcb with a vga port and a longer cable and grab H+V sync from Alice

edit2:
I am attaching the pinouts of the board , maybe someone else will need them in the future. With them one can restore the Alice connections and create a simple VGA cable just like modern scandoublers do.

I can confirm I’ve used the Alice board for the ScanPlus AGA with my DCE. It works 100%. My DCE also only had the external solution where the sync comes from the RGB. Now I route the VGA from the DCE.

Hello everyone, how are you? Regarding the scandoubler, could you help me, how to install it on the amiga1200? I'm not sure about the position of the connector.
Thanks
